Scott Williams has been named President of the Downtown Music Holdings-owned CD Child and Soundrop.
Williams beforehand served as CD Child’s Chief Expertise Officer.
Williams joined CD Child in 2013 as Vice President of Expertise, and was later promoted to CTO in 2019.
He was “central” to the launch of music distribution service Soundrop, says the corporate, and in addition led the staff behind CD Child’s reporting to its artist shoppers, who’ve now obtained funds for greater than 20 years.
